IV- GETTING STARTED
Before any intervention on product, ensure that product is disconnected from its
power source.
4.1- Unpacking
Remove product from its packaging.
Check that tool and accessories are not damage
4.2- Installing Auger Bit (Fig.2)
The auger bit is to be mounted on the spindle.
Position the bit shaft on the spindle.
Insert metal plug (2) and secure with cotter pin (3).
Remarks:
Before use and during use, periodically check that cotter pin is
securely tightened.
Install bit according to work to perform.
Dispose of used auger bits properly (e.g. collection center...)
4.3- Starting and Stopping (Fig.3)
The trigger switch [11] located on the handle incorporates a safety
feature to prevent accidental starting.
- To start the machine, press the safety switch [10], and then squeeze
the trigger switch [11].
- To stop the machine, release the trigger switch [11].
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for domestic use for outdoor works.
- The product is intended for drilling earth within the limits of the drilling capacities of the bit.
- Do not use for purposes not intended
- Do not use for cutting or drilling non-earth materials (for ex. ice; rocky ground...)
5.2- Operation:
1. Install a bit according to work to perform.
2. Connect product to a power source (refer to characteristics on product).
3. Wear appropriate protective equipment.
4. Firmly hold tool by the handle. Always maintain a balanced and secure position.
5. Position tool upright at desired drilling point.
Do not make sudden movements.
