Make sure that the activator (5) of the distractor can be easily rotated and will not come
off the distractor even when pulling it strongly.

Make sure that the locking bolt (7) of the activator engages cor-
rectly with the borehole (8) of the distractor sleeve. This is essen-
tial for establishing a secure connection between the activator
and the distractor.

CORRECT
The locking bolt (7) is visible through the
borehole (8).

WRONG
The bolt is not visible and therefore has not
locked into place. When pulling it, the activa-
tor (5) can come off the distractor as a result.
