1 GENERAL SECURITY INFORMATION

1.1 USE OF THE APPLIANCE

This appliance is intended for cooking food in a domestic environment. Any other use is improper.
1.2 OPERATION MANUAL
This instruction manual and the manual "Instructions for use and maintenance and Planet warranty" are an integral part of the appliance.
They must be read carefully before installing the appliance and maintained intact and within the reach of the user throughout the whole
life cycle of the appliance.

1.3 NAMEPLATE

Please pay attention to the silver nameplate placed on the barbecue and on the last page of this manual: it lists model, production batch,
technical data and type of gas to which the appliance has been calibrated and date of testing. The nameplate must never be removed.
1.4 WARNINGS
This appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Keep children at a distance.
• Keep away from children
• Do not leave the barbecue unattended when it is switched on.
• Do not keep or use any aerosol sprays near the barbecue.
• Do not keep flammable liquids near the barbecue.
• Do not use any caustic or abrasive-based detergents on the barbecue.
• Do not check the presence of leakages with a naked flame.
• Do not change the design of the appliance and do not change the size of the injectors' opening.
• Never hold any spare gas cylinders near the barbecue.
• Keep children under the age of eight away from the appliance, if not continually monitored.
• Handle any gas cylinders with care even if they seem empty in compliance with safety standards used.
• Do not use any gas cylinders which are dented or rusty.
• Do not disconnect the gas cylinder from the appliance when it is in operation.
• Perform any operation on the gas cylinder away from the appliance.
• If the knob becomes difficult to rotate, have taps checked at an authorized service centre.
• Always turn off the gas valve of the cylinder at the end of the use.
• Do not obstruct any openings, ventilation slots and any slots for heat dissipation.
• Do not use, in no case, the appliance to heat the environment.
• Remove any traces of liquids from the cover (if any) before opening it.
• Do not use on boats, caravans or trailers.
• Do not use any plastic dishes or containers for cooking the food.

1.5 MANUFACTURER'S RESPONSIBILITY

The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages incurred by people and things due to:
• Use of the appliance other than the intended use;
• Failure to comply with any requirements of the user manual;
• Any tampering of even a single part of the appliance;
• Use of non-original spare parts.
2 INSTALLATION
• This appliance must be installed by qualified personnel in accordance with the National Rules in force.
• Check the type of gas that will power the appliance and make sure the appliance is pre-set for that type of power supply: if not, adapt it by
following the instructions in section 5 ADAPTING TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF GAS
• The compartment for installation (bearing plane, walls, frame and lower panel) must be made with non-flammable materials such as marble,
granite, bricks etc.
• Drill an opening on the worktop of the support structure following dimensions shown in FIG.1 and TAB.3 (all dimensions are in mm).
• Keep a lateral and rear distance of at least 250 mm from any flammable materials.
• Keep a distance above the top of at least 600 mm.
• The barbecue requires a non-combustible panel to be placed 200 mm under it. The panel prevents the user from accidentally coming into
contact with sharp or hot parts and, if the appliance is installed in a closed structure, prevents heat building up inside the compartment below.

• The panel must be removable in order to allow any maintenance or replacement operations of the battery.
• It will be necessary to make a 100 mm circular cut on the panel in correspondence with the fitting for the connection of the LPG.
• If installed in a closed structure, the cylinder requires the presence of air vents (See A1 – FIG. 5)
• For the correct operation of the appliance, it is essential to guarantee a ventilation allowing an inflow of air equal to that used during the
