To ground the power take off alternator to the earth, connect the grounding lug of the generator
to the grounding spike driven into the earth or to the conductor which has been already grounded
to the earth.
•
If such grounding conductor or grounding electrode is unavailable, connect the grounding lug of the
power take off alternator to the grounding terminal of using electric tool or appliance.
4.5. POWER OUTLET 230V
AC power is provided by these outlets. For safety and optimum, use a three-prong grounding plug.
4.6. THERMAL CIRCUIT BREAKER
This power take off alternator is equipped with a thermal circuit breaker which acts as overload
protection. If the distribution of the electric current is interrupted during using, this may be due to an
overload charge which trigger the thermal breaker or one of the appliances is defective. In this case,
wait a few minutes, remove the overload charge and then reset the thermal circuit breaker by pushing
the button located near the sockets.
4.7. CONTROLLING COMPONENTS
Before starting the tractor, control the following points:
•
Tightening of screws and nuts;
•
Parts damaged or broken;
•
If the power take off alternator is placed on wiring or touch any electrical wire;
•
Vicinity of the power take off alternator.
■ Make sure you have read all the warnings to prevent any risk of fire.
■ Make sure there is no flammable or hazardous material next to the power take off alternator.
■ Install the power take off alternator at least 1 meter away from any building.
■ Only allow the power take off alternator to operate in dry and well-ventilated environment.
■ Keep the tractor driven alternator away from open flames. No smoking.
■ Place the power take off alternator on a flat and stable surface.
■ Never block the air flow of the the power take off alternator with paper or any other material.
4.8. ALTERNATING CURRENT
□ Before startong the power take off alternator, make sure that the total loads (resistive, capacitive
and inductive) does not exceed the maximum power of the power take off alternator.
