Parametric
The parameters control the output of messages. You will find
options
explanations on the meaning of the parameters in Section 8.4. Parameters
exist in two different forms:
A parametric DB exists in the PLC. This DB is loaded from the
PLC to the TD. If the DB is not recognized as valid, a message
appears.
Parameters are assigned using data defaults in the TD.
This parametric mode is set automatically if no valid parametric DB
is found. The message which tells you this is "Default parameters
will be used". The default parameters can be modified using the
TD 390. Refer to Section 8.4 for details.
Working with
The default (modifiable) parameters in the TD 390 are valid until they
default
are modified or a parametric DB is installed. See Annex A.1 for default
parameters parameter values.
Modify default
You can modify the default parameters. You access the menu list (see
parameters in
table) as described in Section 5.2 "Select Language".

The first setting is always LANGUAGE with the current setting at the
bottom left.
