Clearances of less than 6" (152mm) must be approved by the local codes and/or by the local authority having jurisdiction.
** The cooktop must be supported from the bottom. Provide a platform or some other means of support to set the cooktop on. If the platform is solid, provide a 6" x 12" (152 x 305mm) cutout in the left rear corner for the gas inlet and power cord clearance.
