13.5 Vacuum test

It is a chamber leak test or a vacuum leak test. This test aims at verifying that during the
cycle no air infiltration takes place through the chamber seals (gaskets, valves, etc...)

There is no preset testing interval, apart from areas to which specific
regional regulations apply. Hence in order to constantly monitor the
autoclave performance, it is advisable to perform the test at least once
every 30 days.
Perform the test with empty and could chamber, if the cycle is activated at
high temperature the autoclave signals an alarm. Select the suitable cycle
indicated on the autoclave display. The cycle is enabled. The autoclave
automatically performs the cycle by complying with precise technical
procedures. Then the final result is printed out through the printer
connection.
The test result is immediate and is registered on the log file in SD card
which save all the values relating to the performed cycle as well as the final
assessment.
