9.3 Autoclaving

The bottle and lid, with tubing connectors and tubes, can be
autoclaved to max. 121°C. The sensor cable must first be
removed and the tube couplings disconnected.
Warning: Ensure that the sensor cable is removed
before autoclaving otherwise it may be damaged
beyond repair.
NB:
Prior to autoclaving, open the venting screw;

this prevents build-up of excess pressure.
For autoclaving, screw the lid loosely onto the

bottle.
Please refer to autoclave manufacturers guide for
correct sterilization of liquids and volumes.

Warning: When autoclaving the bottle, always keep
the lid on otherwise it may become deformed.
Warning: Always disconnect tube couplings before
autoclaving. Otherwise they will be damaged
beyond repair.
Warning: The filter may be autoclaved for sterilisa-
tion but it must not be reused.
