EN Fault Description
list
Excess temperature. Charging stopped due to
high temperature within the charging station.
After a cool-down phase the charging station
continues the normal charging cycle.
F3 LED is red and an acoustic signal sounds for
0.5 s and then for 5 s following a pause:
There is a problem in the voltage or system
monitoring.
DANGER
Danger of fatal electric shock.
u Switch off and secure the power supply to
the charging station. Only then unplug the
cable from the vehicle.
u Contact the Webasto Charging Hotline at
00800-24274464.
Fault list Description
F5 LED flashes red for 1 s at 2 s intervals and an
acoustic signal sounds for 0.5 s and then for
5 s following a pause:
There is a fault in the vehicle.
u Re-connect the vehicle
u If the warning persists, contact the car cus-
tomer service.
F6 LED flashes red 2 times, followed by a brief
pause:
the supply voltage is outside the valid range of
180 V to 270 V.
Checking by an authorised electrician.

F7 LED flashes red 3 times, followed by a brief
pause:
Beeps at 0.5-second intervals:
There is a fault in the installation. Info for in-

Operating Description

C1 LED is blue at 0.5 second intervals:
The authorisation process is in progress.
C2 LED lights up red for 1.5 / 1 / 0.5 s and a
beep sounds at the same time:
Restart of the charging station by RFID
dongle owner/operator (indicator in config-
uration can be activated)
C3 LED lights up red for 0.5 s at 60-second in-
tervals:
Information about lost GSM signal (every 60
s in all modes) (indicator in configuration can
be activated)
C5 LED flashes blue for 0.5 s and red for 0.5 s:
RFID dongle is not permitted by service pro-
vider or charging station.
C6 LED flashes blue for 1 s and green for 1 s
and a beep sounds:
Authorisation was successful. The vehicle
must be connected to the charging station
within 45 s (default value).
C7 LED flashes green at 0.5 second intervals:
Increasing state of charge (SOC) with avail-
able connection using ISO 15118, 12.5%
SOC per LED, increasing steadily periodically.
C8 LED is purple for 4 s and an acoustic signal
sounds for 1.5 - 1 - 0.5 s:
Reset by backend.

Start charging

NOTE
Always take into account the vehicle require-
ments before charging a vehicle.
NOTE
Park the vehicle for charging such as to avoid
strain in the charging cable.

The RFID dongle can be authorised before or after the
charging cable is plugged into the vehicle. Note that the
time between authorisation and connection of the char-
ging cable is limited to 45 s (default value). After this
period, the authorisation is no longer valid, and the char-
ging station returns to the starting state.

Stop charging

The vehicle has stopped the charging cycle automat-
ically:

Authentication at the charging station

Authorisation for starting the charging cycle is carried out
electronically using the RFID technology or directly when
connecting the charging cable to the electric vehicle by
means of data transmission in the charging cable accord-
ing to ISO 15118.
