SAFETY ADVICE
• Only use the device for lifting and lowering loads. Prolonged supporting of the load can overload the
device and cause injury and damage.
• Never use the jack to lift persons.
• Do not use the jack when persons are sitting in or leaning against the vehicle.
• If the hand force to be applied is more than 400 N (approx. 40 kg), please get a second person to
assist you.
• Do not use the jack outdoors in frost and rain.
• Keep the signs on the jack in good condition.
• Check the jack for damage, oil leaks and corrosion every time before using. Do not use the jack if it
is damaged.
• If there is an operational fault during use (lifting rod jammed, valve/piston stuck), please contact a
specialist or Customer Service.
• Should it become difficult to lower the jack as desired, always secure the vehicle with jack stands
against unexpected sinking. Obtain a second jack that allows you to lift the vehicle high enough to
be able to safely remove the broken jack. In case of uncertainty, ask for help from a professional.
• Do not use the floor jack under the following circumstances:
under difficult conditions (e.g. very cold or hot climate, under the influence of strong magnetic
radiation) and similar situations.
combined with explosive substances, mines etc. and similar situations .
when lifting loads that contain the following materials among others: molten metal, acids,
radioactive material, or loose goods, which are not firmly joined together, and similar situations.
in contact with foods and similar situations.
on ships and similar situations.
• Only use accessories that are supplied.
USE
Lifting the load
1
Fit the tubular parts of pump lever (7) together, close the
lowering valve (8) with the lever end by turning clockwise
(to the right).
2
Place the jack exactly below the lifting point and turn the
saddle (1) until it is in firm contact with the load to be lifted.
3
Insert the pump lever (7) in the pump joint (5). Operate the
jack handle until the saddle is touching the load. Recheck
whether the saddle is correctly positioned. Lift the load with
pumping movements and then transfer the load to the jack
stands.
Lowering the load
1
Lift the load with the jack again to remove the jack stands.
2
Turn the lowering valve (max. 2 turns) with the lever end slowly in a counterclockwise direction (to the
left). The load is lowered slowly.
3
Lowering can be interrupted by turning to the right.
4
If the piston is still extended, please press the piston in with your hand until the piston is not exposed
to the air (prevention of rust).
5
Close the valve by turning to the right after lowering completely.
