User instructions
The AS-i valve terminal type 10 is designed exclusively for
controlling pneumatic actuators and may only be used in bus
systems as agreed in the AS-i specifications. The specified limit
values for pressures, temperatures, electrical data, torques etc.
must be observed.
AS-i bus systems and AS-i valve terminals may only be
installed by specially qualified personnel. Detailed specifications
on the concept and addressing of the AS-i bus system can be
found in the manual for the AS-i master.
Detailed information on the pneumatic components of the valve
terminal can be found in the pneumatics manual P.BE-CPV-....
WARNING
• Switch off the power supply before connecting or dis-
connecting plugs (otherwise functioning may be impaired).
• Connect a protective earth conductor with sufficient cross
section to the functional earth/ground connection marked
with
earthed machine stand.
PLEASE NOTE
Commission only a valve terminal which is completely fitted
and wired.
