7. Bar graph which with rising green bars will indicate how far the selected wash cycle has come.
8. Button that starts a cycle with air blowing only.
9. With this button activated, the machine washes wheels up to maximum size.
10. With this button activated, the movement of the dynamic flush pipe is limited, meaning that smaller wheels (up to c.a.
600mm outside diameter) will be washed with extra intensity.
CHANGE OF WATER
After washing 300 wheels, you should change the water and clean the machine.
(The basic setting of 300 washing cycles can be re-programmed as follows: simultaneously press key 2 and key 120 secs.
and set the desired number with key 30 or 60 secs. Then activate with key 120 secs.).
Please note that when the machine is filled with water, it may only be lifted with a fork-lift truck from the FRONT,
not from the back or from the side. Otherwise you risk you damage the bottom tray.
1. First, the granula should be collected as follows. Top up with water until the water level reaches the upper notch of the
red level indicator (nr 2 picture 3). Place the granula basket in the wash room and close the lid. Press the yellow button
with the granula basket symbol (nr 4 picture 1) and let the machine run until it stops automatically (approx 5 min).
As the granula is collected in the basket, you can easily check that you have the correct amount of granula, by checking
that the granula level reaches the notches on the side of the basket (symbol 3 picture 2). If this is not the case, top up with
some more granula.
2. Remove the service lid (nr 9 picture 3) and remove the baffle plate (nr 10 picture 3). Empty the dirty water into the drain
using the drain hose (nr 13 picture 3). You may leave the water over the weekend to let the dirt sink to the bottom to avoid
that it will be drained out with the water.
3. Remove the dirt sediment from the bottom of the machine with a proper shovel and then rinse the machine. Please note
that the dirt should be handled as hazardous waste.
4. Put the granula back into the machine by turning the basket over on the lid and top up with water until the lower notch
of the red level indicator is reached (symbol 1 picture 2).
If the machine is equipped with an Immersion heater:
The heater will be turned of at the start of granula collection. The heater will automatically be turned on again either
after starting a wash cycle, or after turning the main switch ON/OFF.
RUNNING-IN
When the machine is new, the surface of the pump and pipes will wear and fragments from the manufacture of the granula
will liberate themselves. An extra change of water and rinse of the machine after 100 washes is therefore strongly
recommended. The granula should then also be rinsed while they are collected in the basket.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
The water level must be checked daily (symbol 1 picture 2) and adjusted when needed. The machine will not operate
properly if the water level is wrong. It will wash less efficiently and the risk of blocking the flush pipes (nr 6 and 7
picture 3) will increase.
Check that no foam develops in the machine (symbol 2 picture 2). This can happen if you wash many wheels from cars that
have just been cleaned in automatic car washers. Likewise foam can develop if you add detergents other than the
DRESTER original to the water. Foam will cause malfunction. The machine will wash less efficiently and the risk of
blocking the flush pipes will increase.
In front of the baffle plate (nr 10 picture 3) there should be no granula (symbol 5 picture 2). If there are granula in front of
the dividing plate, these will not be fed into the pump and the wash result will deteriorate.
