Die explosionsgeschützten Energieverteilungs-,
Schalt- und Steuergerätekombinationen Typ
EG8.. bzw. ED8.. werden zur ortsfesten Monta-
ge in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen der
Zone 2 nach EN 60079-10:1996 bzw. Zone 22
nach IEC 61241-10 eingesetzt.
Lassen Sie diese Betriebsanleitung und andere
Gegenstände während des Betriebes nicht in
dem Gehäuse.
Betreiben Sie die explosionsgeschützten Ener-
gieverteilungs-, Schalt- und Steuergerätekom-
binationen Typ EG8.. bzw. ED8.. bestimmungs-
gemäss in unbeschädigtem und sauberem
Zustand und nur dort, wo die Beständigkeit des
Gehäusematerials gewährleistet ist.
Bei nicht korrektem Zusammenbau ist der Min-
destschutzgrad IP 54 bzw. IP 65 nach EN 60
529:1991 nicht mehr gewährleistet.
Es dürfen keine Veränderungen an explosions-
geschützten Energieverteilungs-, Schalt- und
Steuergerätekombinationen vorgenommen wer-
den, die nicht ausdrücklich in dieser Betriebs-
anleitung aufgeführt sind.

Les dispositifs antidéflagrants de distribution
d'énergie, de couplage et de commande des
types EG8.. à savoir ED8.. sont conçus pour le
montage fixe en atmosphère explosible de la
zone 2 selon la norme EN 60079-10:1996, à
savoir de la zone 22 selon CEI 61241-10.
Ne laissez jamais cette notice ou d'autres objets
dans l'armoire durant le service.
Utilisez les dispositifs antidéflagrants de distri-
bution d'énergie, de couplage et de commande
des types EG8.. à savoir ED8.. conformément
aux prescriptions, en état de propreté et non
endommagé uniquement dans des emplace-
ments où l'inaltérabilité du matériel du boîtier
est assurée.
En cas de montage incorrect, l'indice minimal
de protection IP 54, à savoir IP 65 selon EN 60
529:1991 n'est plus garanti.
Aucune modification ni réparation ne doit être
apportée aux dispositifs antidéflagrants de dis-
tribution d'énergie, de couplage et de comman-
de qui ne sont pas clairement exposées dans la
présente notice.

Safety Rules
The explosionproof multipurpose distribution,
switching and control units Type EG8.. and
ED8.. are used for stationary installation in areas
with explosion hazards that are designated
Zone 2 to EN 60079-10:1996 or Zone 22 to IEC
61241-10.
During operation, do not leave this Instruction
Manual or other objects in the enclosure.
Operate the explosionproof multipurpose distri-
bution, switching and control units Type EG8..
and ED8.. only for their intended duty in the
undamaged and clean condition, and only
where the resistance of the enclosure material
to the surroundings is assured.
In the event of incorrect assembly, the minimum
protection degree of IP 54 or IP 65 to EN
60529:1991 will no longer be assured.
No modifications are allowed to the explosion-
proof multipurpose distribution, switching and
control units that are not expressly mentioned in
this Instruction Manual.
