5 Functional Description

The wire feeding systems consists of MFS-V2 E-Box and M-Drive. The following components are included
in the master feeder system MF:

All elements are combined to form a functional unit.
5.1 E-Box
All electronic components are installed in the metal housing. The power supply is provided via a separate
connecting cable. For the connection voltage and power consumption, see
 3.1 Technical Data on page EN-5

5.2 M-Drive

The M-Drive is adapted electronically and mechanically to the master feeder system. All required valves and
connections have been installed in the housing.

6 Putting into operation

Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up.
The following instructions must be adhered to for the entire duration of maintenance, servicing, mounting,
dismounting and repair work:
• Switch off the power supply.
• Disconnect the compressed air supply.
• Pull the mains plug.

Risk of injury

Safety switches on covers and protective devices are ineffective in manual mode.
• High concentration.
