Handling cautions
Obey the following to ensure proper use and operation of the cradle.
Operating environment
R If the unit you are using with the cradle is wet, wipe off the moisture before
docking the unit in the cradle.
R The charging times for units and batteries will vary depending on the operating
environment.
R Using the cradle continuously in a hot environment will shorten the product life.
Avoid use in these types of environments.
R Some peripheral devices may not function properly in cold or hot environments.
Check the operational environment rating of any peripheral devices used with
the cradle.
R Place the cradle on a flat, stable surface.
R Do not place the cradle on its sides or upside down.
R Do not block the cradle's ventilation opening.
Drop impacts and damage
R The cradle is a delicate apparatus. Be sure to handle it with care.
R Do not drop the cradle or subject it to impacts.
Cleaning
R Always disconnect the AC adaptor before cleaning the cradle.
R Clean the cradle with a soft, dry cloth.
R Do not use thinner, benzene, wax, petroleum-based liquids, soap, powdered
cleansers, hot water, chemical cleaning cloths, etc.
R If dust or oil has accumulated on the battery charging terminals or bus connector
terminals, battery charging may not be possible. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth.
R Be careful not to bend the battery charging terminals or bus connector terminals.
Miscellaneous
R The cradle is only compatible with the batteries listed on page 5. Do not insert
any other model or type of battery.
R Do not touch the battery charging terminals or bus connector terminals.
R Do not allow conductive metallic materials such as coins or paper clips to touch
the battery charging terminals or bus connector terminals.
R Refer to the operating instructions included with the AC adaptor for information
regarding safe and proper use of the AC adaptor and power cord.
