Deep fryer Use instructions
Preheating
Plug the deep fryer to a wall socket.
Place the ON/OFF switch on I position (the red light turns on), and the oil temperature indicator light will turn on
(green light). Place the temperature control knob on the desired temperature.
Once the set temperature has been reached, the temperature indicator light will turn off.
Frying
Place the food into the basket, making sure that the extractable handle will be well fix to the basket. Fig. E
Immerse the basket in the oil, slowly lowering it to avoid hot oil splashes or spilling.
Make sure that the food to be fried will be completely covered of oil.
During frying, a lot of steam can escape from the fryer.
Place the lid on to the fryer.
When food is ready (it is possible to check cooking level from the window on the lid), carefully remove the lid
paying attention to the hot steam that can escape, and lift the basket so that it drips; lay it on the side of the body
case using the dedicated support. Fig. F
If necessary, gently shake the basket on top of the tank, to let extra oil drip out.
To continue frying, empty the basket and repeat the above detailed operations, keeping in count that cooking
time may be reduced compared to first cooking process, because the oil is already hot. Make sure to wait until
the oil temperature indicator light turns off (to make sure that oil has reached desired temperature).
When frying is over, turn the fryer off placing the temperature control knob on MIN position, and place the ON/
OFF switch on 0. Unplug the fryer from the wall socket.
Wait until the oil or fat has completely cooled down before moving the fryer and/or proceeding with cleaning
operations.
Frying of food
Do not overfill the basket, to avoid the drop of oil temperature in the fryer, which can result in not even cooking
and too greasy food.
When preparing frozen foods, remove any ice crystals before cooking; then slowly immerse the basket in oil to
avoid boiling.
Make sure that food is cut into even and thin pieces or slices, to grant even cooking.
Food must be perfectly dry to prevent overflowing and to extend the life of the oil; damp food can be soggy after
frying. It is better to bread or flour food rich in water (such as fish, meat, vegetables), making sure to take away
excess flour or bread before immersing them in oil or fat.
