5 MAINTENANCE, CLEANING, LUBRICATION

5.1 ENGINE

Refer to engine instruction manual.

5.2 GREASE NIPPLES

Every 50-60 hours, grease the following points:
3 Fig.13 Axle ball-joint
1 Fig.13 Front wheel ball-joints (upper and lower)
It is advisable to use AGIP GREASE LP2

5.3 FILLING WITH OIL

5.3.1 Gearbox casing - differential and hydraulic lift

Every 50 hours check the oil level with plug 4 Fig.13.
It is advisable to use AGIP SUPER TRACTOR UNIVERSAL SAE 15W/40 oil.
Thereafter change the oil every 800 hours (plug 4, Fig. 13).
Quantity needed: about 18 kg.
Oil drain: plug 1 Fig.15.
5.3.1.1 Cleaning lift oil filter
Clean this filter every 400 hours and each time the oil is changed. Once the oil
has been drained out, remove the filter, wash it with petrol or diesel, dry it and
replace in its seating. Clean the filter after the first 50 hours.
5.3.2 Front axle
Every 50 hours, check oil level through plug 2, Fig. 13.
It is advisable to use AGIP ROTRA MP SAE 80W/90 oil.
Thereafter change the oil every 800 hours (plug 2, Fig. 13).
Quantity needed: about 9.5 kg.
Oil drain: plug 6 Fig.13.

5.3.3 Final drives

Check the oil level in the front and rear final drives on a regular basis. Remove
the plugs (7, Fig. 13). The oil must come up to the bottom line of the hole.
It is advisable to use AGIP ROTRA MP SAE 80W/90 oil.

5.3.4 Clutch and braking control

Check the level after every 50 hours service.
The reservoir, which is under the steering module guard (see N° 8 fig. 13), must
be at least three-quarters full.
Use of AGIP OSO15 oil is recommended.
The circuit does not need to be serviced in any specific way. Just keep the level
checked.
