INSTALLING THE MORPH433W01 MULTIPROTOCOL INTERFACE
The interface site must be:
- indoors (or stored in a waterproof container if installed outdoors)
- a position safe from accidental collision;
- in a position which the technician can easily reach.
Fastening:
• Remove the two holding screws and lift up the cover
• Using the container as a template mark the four points at which the fastening holes are to be drilled and
fasten down using four self-tapping M4 screws and relative rawlplugs (not supplied with the kit).
• Remove the two plastic cable dividers.
Connecting the external aerial ANS400
Attention! An aerial must be installed on the stationary transceiver.
To obtain the best results from the transceiver the aerial installation site should be carefully chosen. 'Range'
is intended to mean the working distance, measured in free space, between the stationary interface and the
mobile transceiver with the aerial installed. The range is therefore closely linked to the technical characteristics
of the system and varies according to the characteristics of the site in which the system is located. For best
performance we advise you to use the Cardin ANS400 aerial. Wire the aerial to the stationary transceiver unit
using a coaxial cable RG58 (impedance 50Ω) with a maximum length of 15 m.
• It is possible to connect two aerials in order to improve the signal and consequently the range.
Electrical connection
Warning! The receivers must only be powered by a safety power pack. The use of non safety
power packs could provoke damage to the system.
