5. ERROR DETECTION AND INDICATION
• If the device notices an error during system start (when switched on) or during control, the green LED light will start flashing.
• The optical error indication stays active until the error is corrected.
• When multiple errors occur at the same time, only the first detected error will be indicated.
• After correction of the error, the device will restart automatically.

6.1. Factory settings
Standard configuration for the device is as follows:

Possible cause
Device gets no power
The a conductor is not connected
The a and P conductors are switched
or short circuited
Transfer error on CAT cable: cascade/
RJ45 connection
Remedy
Turn on the power supply or connect a P conductor
Switch the a and P conductors or resolve the short
circuit; device will return to standby
Check the P conductor for short circuit or check the
power supply; device will return to standby
Check the CAT cable and plug
