In Fig. 4 and 5 as well, the internal and external units are powered through the 10-826. If the total power consumption
exceeds the power of the power supply 10-805-01, distribute several power supplies over several 10-826s (see Fig. 5).
3.4. Connect push buttons or contacts to enable selective switching
Four contact inputs (S1 to S4) are available to enable manual selection of the video source.
Connect the contacts between terminals S1 (to S4) and P.
3.5. Connect push buttons or contacts to enable switching to next video source
If you want to be able to call up images of all the connected video sources one by one, you can use the terminal Step. Every
push button that is connected in cascade to the video switcher can be used to switch between all video sources. Connect
a push button between terminals Step and P.
4. PROGRAMMING WITH THE SERVICE UNIT 10-870
With the service unit 10-870, it is possible to program up to 16 video inputs (4 devices in cascade). If you have connected
more than 4 video switchers in cascade (up to 16), the programming has to be done with the Niko configuration software
(in development).
If you use only 1 video switcher, the switcher's video inputs are automatically assigned to external unit addresses 01, 02,
03 and 04. However, if you use several video switchers, you need to modify the AS addresses assigned to the slaves (for
example 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10).
1. Assign an external unit address to each external video unit and external unit with accompanying camera and lock it
Assign an external unit address to the external unit and
lock the settings.
2. Attribution des entrées du sélecteur vidéo à une adresse de poste extérieur donné (sur l'esclave)
Assign an external video unit with a specific external
unit address to an input on the video switcher
Reset to the factory settings (see § 6.1)
