Adjusting the fill level indicator
A fill level indicator (26) is installed on the side of the
grass collection box (15).
The fill level indicator is opened by the air flow into the
grass collection box when operating. If the fill level indi-
cator remains closed during operation, this means that
the grass collection box is full and must be emptied.

Switching the lawnmower on/off (Fig. 8)
The lawnmower can be operated with either a
rechargeable battery.
Which battery compartment you use does not
matter. A second battery enables the lawnmower
to be used longer.
WAR N I N G !
Risk of injury and damage!
Starting the lawnmower improperly can cause seri-
ous injuries and damage.
- Start or actuate the start device carefully and in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
1. Insert the safety key (18) into the opening provided
until it locks in place.
2. Ensure that lawnmower is at a suitable location and
that the cutting blades cannot cause any injuries or
damage.
3. To switch on, press the release button (18) and hold
it while you pull the start bar (2) towards the handle
bar (1). Let go of the release button.

WORKING WITH THE DEVICE

Comply with noise prevention and local regulations. Re-
gular mowing encourages grass plants to grow more lea-
ves and also kills weeds. The grass therefore becomes
thicker each time it is mown and an even lawn is formed.
The first cut should be carried out around April when the
growth height is approximately 70 - 80 mm. Mow the
lawn at least once per week in the main vegetation time.
Use the device in straight lines as far as possible.
The lines should overlap by a few centimetres to
ensure that there are no gaps.
Adjust the cutting height so that the device is not
overloaded. Otherwise, the motor may get damaged.
When working on slopes, always mow across the
slope. Take particular care when going backwards
and pulling the device.
Clean the device after each use as described in the
"Cleaning and maintenance" chapter.
