6. Configuration telegram

The MSI-FB-PB100 realizes a modular slave. Depending on the configuration, it differentiates between
the "Automatic system configuration" and the "Configuration via DTM" operating modes.
During the automatic configuration, the gateway creates the MSIM configuration and saves it in the
connected slaves. The device addresses of the connected system devices must be manually assigned
before. This operating mode should be used only for extremely small stations.

6.1. Digital Input and Output

The "Digital inputs / outputs" module is always active.
It must always be initialized as the first module by the configuration telegram.
This is usually ensured by the settings in the GSD file. If this GSD function is not supported by the
PROFIBUS configuration tool, this must be ensured by the user.
