7 Breakdown / Guarantee / After Sales / Compliance

7.1

USB port

The USB port must not be used by the user unless requested by a professional partner of VENTILAIRSEC
or by a member of the VENTILAIRSEC team. The USB port can be used to collect various data from a
USB stick for maintenance purposes. Do not insert any storage device other than a USB stick. The
warranty will not cover any damage caused to the remote control due to unauthorised usage of the
USB port.
If you need to collect data saved by the remote control, proceed as follows:
1- Wait until the remote control screen goes out.
2- Insert the USB stick.
3- Press OK.
4- Downloading will start.
5- Remove the USB stick when downloading has stopped.
Important: The USB stick must be in FAT32 format.

Breakdown - Troubleshooting

If the appliance breaks down, refer to the following parts:

1 General information)
- Displays on the remote control: (see 4. Using the remote control)
If the solution to the breakdown or the fault is not shown as an "Operation that can be done by the
user" in this manual or does not appear in the manual, please contact a professional.
7.3

Guarantee - After Sales

The Ventilairsec's VMI® PULSE'R Prestige 2 unit has a 5-year part and labour guarantee in our
workshop, with the installer, as from the purchase date and against all manufacturing defects. If the
parts are found to be faulty after being inspected by their After Sales Service, Ventilairsec guarantees
to exchange them.
In no event does the guarantee cover:
- additional charges (labour other than that done in our workshop, travel, etc.),
- damage due to installation that does not comply with this manual,
- damage due to improper use,
- damage due to improper care and maintenance,
- damage due to repairs made by unqualified staff or transformation of the appliance,
- damage due to the VMI® being stopped.
