INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Both of the patient's legs should be put in position at the same time. Do the steps that
follow simultaneously to both legs.
1. Make sure that:
• the patient's legs are secure in the stirrup
• pressure is not applied to the back of the knee (popliteal fossa)
• pressure is not applied to the side of the knee
• the patient's toe, knee, and opposite shoulder align
2. Grasp and firmly squeeze the lithotomy
handle and pull the Yellofins Apexup or
down to increase or decrease the
Lithotomy Angle.
