To play a disc
To play a disc on the unit, operate the unit as instructed below:
Turn on the power by pressing the main unit's front-panel power button (or the DISC PLAYER button on the remote

control unit).
Confirm that the main unit's front-panel power indicator lights.

Press the h button.
When the disc tray opens, load a disc on the tray.
With the disc in place, press the h button again to close the disc tray.

Press the main unit's front-panel button (or the button on the remote
control unit).
Disc playback will begin.
• To pause playback, press the main unit's front-panel button (or the
e button on the remote control unit) during playback.
• To stop play, press the g button during playback.
• To turn off the main unit (set to standby mode), press the main unit's front-panel power button (or the DISC
PLAYER button on the remote control unit).
Using the unit as a D/A converter
With disc playback stopped, press the DAC MODE button on the main unit's front-panel (or remote control unit).

Each time the button is pressed, the input mode will be switched as follows:
U1 or U2 (USB input)
' The sampling rate is displayed whenever an input signal is received. When no input signal is detected, the display will show
[ - - - ].
' The sampling rate display is in units of kHz; fractional decimal points are omitted.
' In case of DSD signals, [dSd] is indicated for 2.8 MHz modulation, [dSd2] is indicated for 5.6 MHz modulation and [dSd4]
is indicated for 11.2 MHz modulation.
' With D1, D2 or D3 inputs, supported sampling rates include 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz, and 192 kHz.
With D4 inputs, supported sampling rates include 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, and 96 kHz.
