WARNING! Read this manual and general safety in-
structions carefully before using the appliance, for your
own safety. Your power tool should only be passed on
together with these instructions.
Always keep the workplace tidy and remove any fallen
wood residues.
• Keep in mind that wood is a natural material and can
behave unpredictably when chopped (unexpected
ejection of pieces of wood - explosive cracking).
• Always wear safety shoes.
• Always keep your hands away from the forehead
area of the wood log and the splitting wedge.
• The fronts of the chipped wood must be as straight
as possible on the support plate and cannot slip to the
side.
• The safety device of the machine must not be
dismantled or taken out of operation.
• Remove all wood, wood waste and bark from the
place where the appliance will be operated.
• Check the supply cables. Do not use damaged power
cords.
• Before putting the device into operation, check the
correct function of the two-hand control.
• Wear tight-fitting clothing. Put away jewelry, rings and
wristwatches.
• Wear protective clothing.
• Keep constant attention during work: Risk of injury to
fingers or hands due to splitting
wedge.
• When working, all safety devices and guards must be
mounted on the machine and function properly.
• Use a suitable support tool to split heavy large pieces
of wood.

Tool
change,
adjustment,
troubleshooting may only be performed with the
engine switched off. Disconnect the mains plug from
the mains socket!
• Upon completion of repair or maintenance, all
protective and safety devices must be refitted
immediately.
• Place the splitter on a flat and non-slip surface before
use. Provide sufficient space for free movement.
Never use the splitter in the rain.
• The mains voltage must correspond to the data on
the type plate.
• If you use a cable on a take-up reel, unwind the entire
length of the cable to prevent it
heating (max. cable length 10 meters).
• When working outdoors, the electrical outlet must be
equipped with a circuit breaker.
• The piece of wood being processed must be placed
on the support surface of the splitter in a stable position
to prevent it
to his movement.
• Do not chop wet wood.
• Only split one piece of wood at a time.
• Do not chop wood that contains foreign objects.
• Do not remove the jammed piece of wood with your
hands. Support the jammed piece of wood with a short

Minimum age of operator
This machine may only be operated by persons over
18 years of age.
Use of this machine requires professional training or

No special training is required.
Procedure in case of an accident
First provide first aid appropriate to the nature of the
injury and seek medical attention as soon as possible
Help. Protect the affected person from further injury
and calm him down.
There must always be a first aid kit at the workplace
that meets the requirements of DIN 13164. Material
consumed
from the first aid kit must be replenished immediately.

RESIDUAL RISKS AND SAFEGUARDS
Risk of injury to fingers or hands due to splitting wedge
if chipped wood is guided or inserted incorrectly.
• Danger of injury from ejected pieces of wood due to
incorrect guidance or fastening of the chipped wood.
• Risk of injury due to splinters or chips. Always use
protective equipment such as protective gloves, etc.
• Risks associated with electric shock when using the
wrong power cord.
• Hidden residual risks may occur even if all
precautionary measures are taken.
• However, these residual risks can be minimized by
following all safety instructions, applying established
principles, and following the instructions in the
operating instructions.
DESCriPTiON ( A )
The hydraulic wood splitter may only be used for this
activity. It must be in a horizontal position
and wood logs may only be split in a horizontal position
in the direction of the fibers. The splitter can split
only logs that are cut straight (vertically). The
dimensions of the chopped wood logs must not exceed
standard dimensions of the support plate.
Any other use is considered improper use contrary to
the purpose of use of the machine.
This chapter also includes compliance with all
instructions prescribed by the manufacturer in terms of
maintenance, care and
event. repairs or cleaning of the machine. Also follow
all safety instructions.
Arbitrary modifications or changes to the device are
not permitted.
