Instructions on environmental protec-
tion / disposal
The disposal instructions are provided on picto-
grams that are applied to the device or the pack-
aging.
In accordance with European Directive
2012/19/ EU on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment and its application
in national law, used electrical devices
must be collected separately and sent for envi-
ronmentally friendly recycling.
Do not dispose of electrical devices in
household waste.
Recycling alternative to the obligation to return:
As an alternative to returning the device, the
owner of the electrical device is obliged to assist
with recycling it properly when relinquishing own-
ership. The used device can also be handed over
to a disposal point where it will be disposed of
as defined by the national recycling management
and waste disposal act.
This does not apply to accessories and aids that
do not contain electrical components, which are
supplied with the used devices.
Dispose of batteries in an environmentally
friendly manner
• Li-ion batteries are subject to disposal
regulations.
• Batteries must be removed from the de-
vice before it is scrapped.
• Have any defective battery disposed
by a specialised shop.
• Any damaged or disposed devices
must be delivered to appropriate coll-
ection centres.
Disposing of the transport packaging
The packaging protects the device from transport
damage. The packaging materials are generally
selected from environmentally friendly and waste
management perspectives and are therefore re-
cyclable. Returning the packaging to the mate-
rial flow saves raw materials and reduces waste.
Packaging (e.g. film, Styropor®) can be hazard-
ous to children.
There is a risk of suffocation!
Keep packaging out of the reach of children and
dispose of it as quickly as possible.
