Basic Operations (2)
A
Main POWER switch and STANDBY/ON
Button
When the main POWER switch is ON:
Press STANDBY/ON button to turn the
power on. Press it again to turn the
system off (power standby mode). The
indicator lights up in power standby mode
and goes out when this unit is turned on.
B
SPEAKER ON/OFF Button
Press this button to turn the front
speakers on.
("SP." indicator lights up)
Press it again to turn the front speakers
off .
C
Bass Control
This control is used for adjusting the level
of the low frequency sound range.
D
Treble Control
This control is used for adjusting the level
of the high frequency sound range.
E
BALANCE Control
This control is used to adjust the balance
of the front speakers.
Normally set to the center position.

Muting
To mute the sound temporarily, press the
MUTING button. Press the MUTING button
again to restore the sound. If you change
the volume during the muting, the muting
will be canceled.
While muting is engaged, the MUTING
indicator will flicker.

Fonctionnement de base (2)
A
Interrupteur d'alimentation secteur
(POWER) et touche d'attente/mise en
marche (STANDBY/ON)
Lorsque l'interrupteur d'alimentation
secteur est sur ON:
Appuyer sur la touche STANDBY/ON pour
mettre en marche. La presser de nouveau
pour couper la chaîne (mode d'attente
d'alimentation). L'indicateur s'allume en
mode de veille et s'éteint lorsque
l'appareil est en marche.

Touche SPEAKER ON/OFF
Appuyez sur cette touche pour mettre
l'haut-parleurs avant en marche.
(L'indicateur "ST." s'allume.)
Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche pour
arrêter l'haut-parleurs avant.
C
Commande des graves
Cette commande sert à eégler le niveau
sonore dans la gamme des fréquences
basses.
D
Commande des aigus
Cette commande permet de régler le
niveau sonore dans la gamme des
fréquences aiguës.
E
Commande de balance (BALANCE)
Cette commande est utilisée pour régler la
balance des enceintes avant.
Normalement régler sur la position
centrale.

Interruption du son (Muting)
Pour couper le son provisoirement,
appuyer sur la touche MUTING. Pour
rétablir le son, appuyer à nouveau sur
cette même touche. Le fait de modifier le
volume sonore alors que la fonction
MUTING est activée a pour effet d'annuler
la fonction MUTING .
Alors que le silencieux est engagé,
l'indicateur de niveau MASTER VOLUME
clignotera.
