Verify the water heater's admissible service
pressure (type plate) and exchange the di-
aphragm pressure relief valve's head part, if
necessary.
Use the enclosed ring spanner (4807.00.906)
for the exchange.
Note:
The pressure relief valve is equipped with a
6 bar head part.
Head parts with a response pressure of 8
and 10 bar are enclosed in the delivery.
The pressure relief valve's response pressu-
re should have the same value as the water
heater's admissible service pressure.
The enclosed head parts shall only be used
for the Safety Center.
In order to adjust to various mounting condi-
tions., the threaded union of the exchangea-
ble diaphragm pressure relief valve allows to
rotate the device by 360° and to mount it in a
different spot.
Comply with the standard DIN 1988, 2
(4.3.4.1.1) when installing the drain pipe.
The tundish is fastened to the pressure relief
valve by means of a compression fitting. It is
rotatable and its telescopic extension allows
the installation in any spaces.
The tundish has to be connected to the drain
connection.
4
A 22 mm copper tube and a compression fit-
ting allow for an additional extension of the
tundish.

tube (to be provi-
ded on site)

fitting
(to be provided on site)
Tighten the pressure relief valve. Even when
firmly tightened, the pressure relief valve
remains rotatable.
Location of the pressure relief valve:
The pressure relief valve should be installed
above the water heater to facilitate mainte-
nance works.
Use the soldering kit order number 0024.15.905
for the DN 15 safety groups and 0024.20.906
for the DN 20 safety groups.
