Intended Use
The product is intended for watering gardens, for operating lawn sprinklers and for drawing water from
ponds, rain barrels, etc.
The product is intended for private use (e.g. in a hobby garden). The product is not intended for irrigation or
irrigation systems in industrial, production or public sectors (e.g. garden complexes).
Only use this product with clear water. Never use other liquids (e.g. salt water, gasoline, heating oil or food-
stuffs). The temperature of the water to be pumped must not exceed +35 °C.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use
can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks or other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store
them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Important Safety Instructions
• This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without su-
pervision.
• The pump must not be used when people are in the
water.

a) General Information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing
material for children.
• Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases, steam and
solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.

• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can dam-
age the product.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the appliance.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be completed by a technician or an au-
thorised repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) Connected Devices
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
c) Installation Site, Connection
• Install and use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
• At the site of installation, the ambient temperature must not be around or below freezing point
(<0 °C). This causes the water in the product to freeze; the higher volume of ice destroys the
product. Store the product in a dry place above freezing point during winter.
d) Operation
• Check the product for damages before each use.
If you find any damage, you must not use the product. Repairs should be carried out by a
specialist workshop!
• Always remove the rechargeable battery from the product when not in use, and before repairs,
maintenance or cleaning.
• The water to be pumped should be as clean as possible. Impurities (e.g. sand, earth, leaves
etc.) cause higher wear, thus reducing the life span of the product, and also the possibility of
mechanical clogging of the drive impeller and blockage of the intake opening.
Therefore, regular functional control of the product is absolutely essential.
• The product is not suitable for the conveyance of drinking water.
• The product is not suitable for the operation of swimming pools.
• Consequential damages, caused by malfunction or fault of the product, should be prevented
by relevant measures (e.g. by use of water level gauge, sensors, alarm devices and suchlike).
• The product is only suitable for use in temperate, not tropical, climates.
• The product is splash-proof (protection type IPX4). Do not expose the product to direct water
jets.
• The product must never run dry. Otherwise the product will be damaged.
