8.1.4. Air sensor
With this air sensor, there are 2 LED signals. Corresponding LED is lit constantly with "BIP" signal or corresponding
LED is blinking with "BIP" signal.
-
If corresponding LED is constantly lit and a "BIP" signal can be heard.
The air pressure is lower than 5 bar or higher than 6 bar.
To restart the unit, first, check the air pressure at the inlet of the machine. It is necessary to have between 5-6 bar at
the inlet. Once this is done, press "START" button to reset the error.
-
If "Air" LED is blinking with the LEDs around the buttons 1-2-3-4 (oil quantity selection + ext-WO) and a "BIP"
signal can be heard.
This measurement of dynamic air pressure is done to detect if channels are blocked.
This means 3 possibilities of alert:
Tube blocked inside the unit
Channel blocked inside the instrument
Wrong programming in case of use of ext-WO button for external spray instrument
Tube blocked inside the unit:
The unit can detect if one of the tube inside the machine is blocked.
Blocked channel/External spray function:
The unit can detect if one of the channel of the instrument is blocked (spray channels or drive channels)
The iCare+ indicates the concerned instrument by blinking the oil quantity and ext-WO LEDs next to the
corresponding button (1-2-3-4)
In parallel of the function of external spray instrument, the unit can control if there is a mistake for the programming
of the ext-WO button.
