there is the possibility of a serious injury. It is the responsibility of the owner
toensurethatthisslicerisusedproperlyandsafely,strictlyfollowingthe
instructions contained in this manual and any requirements of local law.
Nooneshoulduseorservicethisslicerwithoutpropertrainingandsupervision.
All operators should be thoroughly familiar with the procedures contained
inthismanual.Evenso,Berkelcannotanticipateeverycircumstanceor
environmentinwhichitsslicerswillbeused.You,theownerand/oroperator,
must remain alert to the hazards posed by the function of a slicer—particularly
