Installation
6.1 General
The brine-to-water heat pump must be installed in a frost-free,
dry room on an even, smooth and horizontal surface. The entire
frame should lie directly on the floor to ensure an adequate
soundproof seal. Failing this, additional sound insulation meas-
ures may become necessary.
The heat pump must be installed so that maintenance work can
be carried out without hindrance. This is ensured when observing
the distances to solid walls as shown in the figure.

Neither frost nor temperatures higher than 35 °C must occur in
the installation location at any time of the year.
6.2 Sound Emissions
The heat pump offers silent operation due to efficient sound insu-
lation. Any vibration transmission to the foundation or the heating
system can be largely prevented by internal sound decoupling
measures.

Assembly
7.1 General
The following connections need to be established on the heat
pump:

Fig. 7.1:
The hydraulic 4-way reversing valve (1) preassembled with the
actuator is secured on the baseplate with 3 mounting brackets.
The mounting brackets must be removed and the flange gasket
placed under the 4-way reversing valve must be used (see
Fig. 7.1 on page 6.). Additional flange gaskets are located to-
gether with the threaded flanges in the accessories kit (2). The
connections elements are placed, together with the protective fil-
ter in the accessory box (3), on the plate heat exchanger. A pre-
assembled pipe assembly (4) is placed on the baseplate and an
additional pipe assembly (5) is secured in the upper section on
the sheet metal part. These pipe assemblies must be connected
with the threaded flanges as shown in Fig. 7.3 on page 7.
