Heat stainless steel wire
650 °C
mesh with hot air gun (650 °C,
airflow rate set to speed 8)
and fix one rounded corner in
place using vehicle welding
nozzle. Now heat entire area
and, applying even pressure,
fuse together with surface.
For this process, always work
in same direction.
Press stainless steel wire
mesh into soft plastic of
bumper.
Attach vehicle welding
650 °C
nozzle and use hot air gun
to heat special welding rod
and fuse with base surface
(approx. 650°C, airflow rate
set to speed 8).

Special welding rod must
turn ductile to produce a
proper bond with plastic
component you are working on.
Allow to cool. Alternatively,
cool with water.
Sand smooth any uneven-
ness to leave a paintable sur-
face.
