Attention!
If no external electronics
is fitted the motor can be
controlledbymeansofatwo-
way rocker switch "TWS"
(only one for each motor)
with zero in the middle and
automatic return as shown
on the right.
SETTING THE TRAVEL LIMITS (SERIES RS0)
The roller motor is supplied with factory set travel limits which allow about
two rotations of the roller in both directions.
- Rotating the travel limit setting screw anticlockwise (unscrewing), will force
a roller travel increase (increases the number of rotations).
- Rotating the travel limit setting screw clockwise (screwing), will force a
roller travel decrease (decreases the number of rotations).
Note: eight rotations of the setting screw equals one rotation of the roller.
Adjustments for shutters (fig. 4a)
• The upper screw allows you to adjust the upper travel limit.
• The lower screw allows you to adjust the lower travel limit.
I
I - Left-hand motor installation
1. After having mounted the motorised roller, press the "down" switch until
it stops rotating.
2. Turning the lower screw anticlockwise, rotate the roller until it reaches the
best position for the attachment of the shutter.
3. Mount the shutter.
4. Press the "up" switch to raise the shutter until the roller stops. Turn the
upper screw clockwise until the shutter reaches the desired upper stop
position.
Positioning error
If you exceed the desired stop point when moving upwards, lower the shut-
ter for a brief distance by pressing the down button and then turn the lower
screw anticlockwise. You then repeat point 4 and raise the shutter until it
reaches the desired upper stop position.
Do not fit stop taps or brackets on the terminal blade of the roll-
ing shutter.
Adjustments for sun blinds (fig. 4b)
• The upper screw allows you to adjust the opening travel limit.
• The lower screw allows you to adjust the closing travel limit.

If you exceed the desired stop point when moving upwards, extend the sun
blind for a brief distance by pressing the opening button and then rotate the
lower screw clockwise for a few turns. You then repeat point 4.
Note: We advise you to set the closing travel limit so it allows sufficient play
between it and the mechanical stop point of the sun blinds.
Check the installation after a few days of operation and adjust the travel
limits to recover any eventual play that has been passed on to the sun
N
blind canopy.

MANUAL MANOEUVRE RSM50

Positioning the hand crank with respect to the installation of
the operator. (fig. 5b)
5b
The position of the operator must
always allow the interconnection
between the gearbox and the hand
crank.

Positioning the stop plate (fig. 5c)
For roller motors with manual manoeuvring mount the stop plate, see fig.
5c, so as to avoid the possibility of the shutter rolling up completely into the
casement. In this case adjust the travel limit so that the stop plates remain
at least 5 cm lower than the stop threshold.
