Disconnect the machine from the electrical supply and gas supply (if applicable) and ensure that power cannot be switched on again
in error.
Remove the left and right screws from the machine lid.
Pull the lid slightly forward, push it back and unhook it from the connection strip.
Remove the lid.
Note
If wiring harness ELP 235 ST17 (external dispensing connection) is installed, it should be removed; see Fig. 3, Pos. 1.
Install the EZL 235 electronic with the 4 spacers in the pre-existing holes on the side of the module holder; see Fig. 1, Pos. 1, Pos. 2.
Install the terminal strips in the pre-existing holes on the module holder; see Fig. 1, Pos. 3.

Terminal strip allocation, see Fig. 3.

Terminal strip 4X3-4, green/yellow
Remove the cover for liquid dispensing from the machine rear panel.
Knock out the pre-punched hole for the 3/4" intake valve on the rear panel; see Fig. 2, Pos. 1
Install the 3/4" cold-water intake valve using the 2 M4x12.5 screws; see Fig. 2, Pos. 1.
Install the hose with hose clamps. Pay attention to the hose position on the mixer box and the hose clamps' screw orientation;
see Fig. 2.
Attach the cold water sticker to the outside, under the 3/4" cold-water intake valve; see Fig. 2, Pos. 2
Modify the existing connections:
Disconnect the plug from ELP 235
see Fig. 3, Pos. 2.
