The receiver can even
be used when the battery is not installed.
In this case, no sound will be heard and the release
button needs to be pushed manually. When the timer
is turned on, the shutter release button can also be
used to manually release the shutter.
If the shutter will be released manually, the timer
will continue the countdown (including display, focus
release indicator light and beep).
If the manual and automatic shutter release are in
combination, the shutter will remain open until the
end of two exposure times.
7. Notes on use
Before using the wireless remote control, please check
the battery power and the number of remaining shots
in your camera (see the camera manual for more
information). Even if the camera does not take photos
for the following reasons, the timer will continue to
run: the battery is low, or memory buffer capacity of
memory card is insufficient. It is recommended to use
the AC adapter of the camera to maintain the power
supply over a long period of time.
Some cameras have auto focus activation options that
determine whether the camera focuses on the shutter
release button (see the camera manual for details).
When using the wireless remote control, turn on the
shutter release button auto focus activation option.
Please note that timers are not as accurate as most
watches and home clocks.

8. Maintenance
Avoid dropping: If a collision or vibration is encounte-
red, the timer may malfunction.
Keep dry: This product is a non – waterproof product.
It may malfunction if it is immersed in water or placed
in a high humidity environment. Rusting of internal
structures can cause damage that cannot be repaired.
Avoid sudden changes of temperature: High tempe-
rature changes, could cause internal condensation
at the wireless remote control. This could lead to
malfunction. To avoid dew, place the timer in a hand
bag or plastic bag beforehand to protect against
temperature changes.
Keep away from strong magnetic fields: Strong static
or strong magnetic fields produced by radio, transmit-
ter and other devices may interfere with the normal
operation of this product.
Notes on electronic controls: In rare cases, some
garbled codes appear in the display panel, and this
product may not work. In most cases this phenomenon
is caused by a strong external electrostatic field. The
solution is to turn off the camera to break the connec-
tion to the wireless remote control and remove the
battery before the control panel is closed and replace
it. Batteries are heated after use, so be careful when
replacing batteries. If the fault persists, please consult
your retailer from who you purchased this product.
Display panel: LCD shows that the temperature is hig-
her, it will appear darker, and when the temperature is
low, it will take longer to display the reaction. This is a
normal phenomenon, not a fault.
