Installation of the eCLIQ electronic locking cylinder

Cylinder fixing screw length

A 85 mm long cylinder fixing screw is suitable for locks with a backset of
up to 75 mm. The following applies to locks with a larger backset:
Length of the cylinder fixing screw = backset size + 10 mm.
Installing the profile c ylinder
Prerequisite: The mortise lock must be completely installed.
Observe the installation instructions with figures
(„Figures", page 122).
An optional change of the cam position is possible with profile cylinders
(„Pic. 2: Changing the position of the locking cam", page 123).
1 Insert the profile cylinder into the profile cylinder cutout.
2 Fix the profile cylinder in place with the fixing screw.
3 Only hand-tighten the cylinder fixing screw.
4 Test the locking cylinder for correct function and ease of movement.
For this purpose, actuate the locking cylinder several times with the
appropriate key.
