Use the cable protection hose (25) included in the delivery. Secure the cable protection hose with cable
ties (16) or cable clamps (13, 14) and screws (12).
20.Shorten the battery cable to the required length.
21.Strip approx. 5 mm of the battery cable.
22.Crimp a plug-in cable lug (22) firmly on each battery cable.
23.Securely connect the battery cables to the control unit (7).
CAUTION!
Damaging to the control unit!
Observe the correct polarity when connecting the battery cables!
Red = (+)
Black = (-)
24.Fasten the appropriate cable lugs (20 or 21) (red = plus, black = minus) to the battery cables and con-
nect to the battery outputs of the control unit.
25.Seal the cable opening through the floor of the caravan (25 mm hole) so it is watertight (e.g. with
sealant)!
26.To conclude, find a suitable point for the wall bracket for the remote control (7) and secure it using the
screws supplied (out of the reach of children or unauthorised persons).
The assembly and installation of the AL-KO support system is now complete.
