HOW TO USE YOUR ICE CREAM MAKER
1. When your mixture is ready, remove the Gel Disc from the freezer and
place it into the bottom of the Bucket. Turn the Gel Disc slightly to
make sure it is placed properly in the Bucket, and does not spin.
NOTE: Do not rinse the frozen Gel Disc. A thick film of ice will immediately
cover its surface and cause the Mixing Paddle to not operate correctly. A
thin film of white frost may cover the surface. Simply remove it with a
spatula. To avoid damage, do not use metal or an abrasive tool.
2. Place the Motor and Lid together by aligning the locking tabs on the
Motor with the slots in the Lid.
3. Position the Mixing Paddle on top of the Gel Disc.
4. Set the Lid over the rim of the Bucket and turn the Lid clockwise to
lock it into position.
5. Plug unit into electrical outlet and set to the "On" position. The Mixing
Paddle will begin to rotate.

6. Pour your well-chilled recipe into the Bucket through the Ingredient Feeder.
NOTE: The unit must be turned to the "On" position and the Mixing
Paddle must be moving when the recipe is poured in.
7. The processing time for making ice cream may vary depending on
specific recipes or personal taste. Generally, the freezing process
should take 20-30 minutes. When your ice cream is ready, switch the
unit to the "Off" position and unplug.
8. Remove Lid and Mixing Paddle and scoop ice cream out of Bucket
and into another container.
NOTE: To further harden ice cream, you may place the Bucket with ice
cream contents into the freezer for a short period of time (no more than
30 minutes). Long term freezing should be done in an air tight container.
CAUTION: Never insert an object, like a spoon, into the Bucket while the
ice cream maker is operating.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR ICE CREAM MAKER
Disassemble unit:
1. Turn the switch to the "Off" position and unplug the unit.
2. Remove the Lid by turning it counter-clockwise to unlock.
3. Remove the Motor by pressing the small release Tabs on the underside
of the Motor (see Figure 1).
4. Remove the Mixing Paddle.
5. Remove the Gel Disc by lifting it by the Disc Knob.

Cleaning unit:

1. Wash the Lid, Bucket, Mixing Paddle, and Ingredient Scoop in warm
soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. These parts are also dishwasher
safe. Please note the Gel Disc is not dishwasher safe.
CAUTION: Under no circumstances should the Motor be immersed in
water. Clean the Motor by using a damp cloth.
NOTE: After the Gel Disc is completely dry, you may place it back in the freezer
(see figure 2), to be used for future batches of your favorite frozen dessert.
