8)
Inspect the installed nozzle o-ring for proper installation and seal. If the o-ring appears twisted, pinched or extruding out of
the o-ring groove, remove the nozzle, lubricate the o-ring and reinstall the nozzle.
9)
Insert the nozzle plug gasket with inhalation valve into the nozzle port. Thread in the nozzle plug using a quarter or similar
item in the molded slot to hand-tighten.
10) Insert the exhalation valve into the nozzle exhalation valve seat and pull in the tab until you hear a "click". When inserted
correctly the flat end of the exhalation valve will be flush with the seat.
11) Install the nozzle cover by engaging the cover on the nozzle upper hook. Pivot cover downward until both lower latches
engage the cover. An audible click should be heard.
12) Install one set of inhalation valves onto the nose cup seats. Install the nose cup seats into the nose cup. From inside the lens
install the nose cup onto the nozzle. Verify the nose cup is properly seated in the nozzle groove and the inhalation valves lie
flat against the seats.
13) Hold the facepiece firmly against your face and exhale several times to ensure that the exhalation valve functions smoothly.
14) Carefully inspect the respirator.
15) Connect cartridges and/or filters to the threaded connectors.
Never allow cartridges or filters to come in contact with water or cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Moisture can damage the
cartridges or filters. Failure to comply with these warnings will result in the risk of serious injury, illness or death.
Do not use abrasive cleaners on the lens. Abrasives can remove the protective coating from the lens, making it susceptible to
scratch and chemical degradation.
