When mounting and removing the Contra Angle Head, do not twist or turn.
•
Do not mount heads other than the Contra Angle Head manufactured and specified by NSK.
CAUTION
*Refer to "8. Contra Angle Head Correspondence Table".
5-3 Attaching the file
5-3-1 Mounting
) Insert the file until it is correctly seated in place.
2) Depress the Push Button and insert the file
into the chuck until the file "notch" mechanism
engages. Release the button.
3) Ensure that the file is secure by gently pulling and
pushing the file WITHOUT depressing the Push
Button.
5-3-2 Removing
Depress the Push Button and remove the file.
•
Make sure that the power is OFF before attaching or removing the file.
•
Do not mount or remove the file until the drive motor has completely stopped.
CAUTION
•
Depressing the push button while the handpiece is rotating will result in OVERHEATING of the
handpiece head and burn injury to the patient.
•
Always keep the file shank clean. Debris inside the chuck could reduce file concentricity.
•
DO NOT use bent, deformed, cracked or non-ISO standard files as the file may break or bend
during use.
•
Do not exceed the drive motor speed or torque recommended by the file manufacturer.

Check before treatment
Check that the Head Cap is firmly tightened. Also check for handpiece vibration, noise and overheating. If any
abnormalities are found do not use the handpiece and contact your Authorized NSK Dealer.

Operating Method
7-1 Preparation
) Press down the POWER key for one second or longer to turn ON the power.
2) Press the PROGRAM Key to select the Program No. to use.
3) Press the GEAR RATIO Key to select the gear ratio appropriate for the Contra Angle Head mounted.
4) Press the SPEED Key to set the speed, the REVERSE Key to set the rotation mode, and the TORQUE Key to
set the torque upper limit.
5) Press the AUTO REVERSE Key to select the Auto Reverse mode. (Refer to "8-3 AUTO REVERSE Function")
