LOAD SHEDDING AND
INTELLIGENT CONTROL SYSTEMS
LOAD SHEDDING ONLY WITH
FIL PILOTE CONTROLLER
In case of over consumption. An energy manager or load
shedder prevents tripping of the general circuit breaker
(example: simultaneous operating of your various house-
hold appliances and others). This allows you to reduce the
contracted power and therefore optimize your subscription
with your energy supplier.
The built-in controller is designed to operate with load
shedding systems via the FIL PILOTE controller only. The
commands sent by the FIL PILOTE controller are processed
by the controller built into the device and executed by
the instruction corresponding to the sent order.
The « Stop » command corresponds to the load shedding.
On receipt of this order, the device goes into "standby
mode" and then returns to the initial operating mode.
OTHER SYSTEMS OF REMOTE
MANAGEMENT BY POWER
SHUTDOWN
Important : The device power supply should be
disconnected only in the event of intervention in
the electrical installation. The load reduction function
cannot be implemented by means of an external mechan-
ical switch or a power cut-off system (contactor, etc.).
Unlike pilot cable control, shedding loads by frequent
mechanical power cut-off can damage the device, de-
pending on the quality of the switching elements used.
This type of deterioration would not be covered by the
manufacturer's warranty.
If frequent remote shutdown or standby is required, it is
necessary to use the Fil PILOTE controller (see previous
paragraph Load shedding with the FIL PILOTE controller
only).
POWER OUTAGES
— If the power outage was shorter than 16 hours, the device
will restart automatically. After the power is restored,
all settings made before the break (set temperature,
operating mode, programs, etc.) and the clock setting
will be restored and the device will automatically restart
in the mode that was active before the break.
— In the event of a power failure of more than 16 hours,
check the clock setting. All other settings are saved
automatically and permanently.
