USER INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE 230
VOLTS NETWORK VERSION
The power supply version 230V may only be switched
on if the voltage indicated on the rating plate matches
that of the power supply and if the power supply
socket is earthed.
Do not damage, pinch or pull the power cord.
Do not use the machine over the power cable. The
cable could wind up in the moving machine parts
causing a short circuit.
• CAUTION!!! - The power supply version 230V
has live components. Touching these parts can
cause serious injury or death.
- Before any intervention on the machine, it must be
disconnected from the power supply.
- Never touch damaged or worn power cords.
- If damaged cables, other damage or cracks are
found, the defective parts must be replaced immedi-
ately with original spare parts.
- The connections to the power supply must be pro-
tected against splash water.
- Only use extension cables that comply with
the applicable safety regulations for connec-
tion to the power supply.
- The power supply socket to which the machine is
connected must be equipped with a residual current
circuit breaker.
- It is strictly forbidden to use the machine near swim-
ming pools or waters.
• EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
In emergencies:
- Immediately disconnect the machine from the
power supply.
- If necessary, immediately initiate first aid
measures.
In the event of an accident, do not restart the ma-
chine until it has been inspected by a technician au-
thorised by the manufacturer.

MAINTENANCE

• Make sure that the main switch on the con-
trol panel is in the off position "0". Disconnect the
battery connector from the wiring of the machine
(B-17 / B-18).
☞ Interventions on electrical components
as well as all maintenance and repair work (espe-
cially work not expressly described in this manual)
should only be carried out in authorised service
centres or by qualified personnel who are famil-
iar with the applicable safety regulations. Regular
maintenance of the machine in accordance with
the operating instructions helps to ensure better
performance and a longer service life of the ma-
chine.
8.1

TANK

Empty the two tanks as described in the appropri-
ate sections.
It is best to clean the tanks with commercially
available cleaning agents in combination with a
water hose.
• Hot water or high-pressure cleaner over
50 °C can damage the tanks and the ma-
chine.
When not in use, leave the tank covers open to
allow the tanks to dry and avoid unpleasant odours.
8.2

FRESH WATER FILTER

To clean the fresh water filter, remove the
transparent cover (C-23) and the filter ele-
ment. After cleaning, the filter element is re-
placed and the transparent cover of the filter
is closed again.
8.3

SUCTION HOSE

Disconnect the suction hose from the squeegee
(G-27). Now the suction hose can be washed and
freed from blockages.
Replace the suction hose correctly onto the squee-
gee.
8.4

SQUEEGEE

• Do not touch the squeegee with your bare
hands; use gloves and any other protective equip-
ment required for the procedure.
Remove the squeegee from the machine and clean
it with a sponge or a brush under running water.
Check the effectiveness and degree of wear of the
squeegee lips. The perfect condition of the squee-
gee lips is essential for a good extraction result.
Over time, the edge of the squeegee lips become
rounded down and worn, affecting the effective-
ness of the drying process. In this case, the squee-
gee lips should be replaced.
To replace the worn squeegee lips, follow the in-
structions in the appropriate section. Turn the
squeegee lips over to use the other sharp edges or
insert new squeegee lips.
8.5

ACCESSORIES

Remove and clean the brushes or retaining wash-
ers.
• Carefully check that the accessory is not con-
taminated by foreign objects such as metal parts,
screws, chips, ropes or the like, so that the floor
and the machine are not damaged.
