CONFIGURATION OF THE CHARGER

This procedure must be performed by trained tech-
nicians. When purchasing the scrubber-dryer, the
built-in battery charger is configured for operation
with GEL batteries.
6.4

PREPARATION OF THE MACHINE

• Before starting work, wear non-slip shoes, gloves
and any other personal protective equipment speci-
fied by the manufacturer for the cleaning agents or
required by the working environment.
☞ Before starting work, the following operations must
be carried out. For a detailed description of these
phases, refer to the corresponding sections in the
operating instructions: Check the battery charge and
charge the battery if necessary.
Install the brushes or the pad drive plate (with corre-
sponding pads) suitable for the surface to be treated.
Assemble the squeegee and check that it is well fas-
tened and connected to the suction hose. Check the
rubber lips for wear and make sure the waste water
tank is empty.
Fill the fresh water tank with a water / cleaning agent
solution with the prescribed mixing ratio. Only use
non-foaming cleaning agents.
☞ to avoid danger, familiarise yourself with the ma-
chine on a large, obstacle-free surface.
For best results with regard to cleaning and service
life of the appliance, please note the following instruc-
tions:
Review the work area and remove any obstacles. If
the area to be cleaned is very large, it should be sub-
divided into contiguous rectangular areas parallel to
each other.
- Choose a straight working track and start working in
the back of the room so that you do not have to run
over areas that have already been cleaned.
