Intended use
The product serves as a room heater using convected fl ow of heat. Mounting to a wall as well as use of the
castors provided are possible.
The device can be operated using the keys on the device or an IR remote control.
Two power levels (750 or 1,500 W) are available.
An integrated thermostat (settings between +5 °C and 35°C) controls the temperature automatically.
A built-in timer can switch off the convector automatically after a set time (0.5 to 8 hours).
The product may only be used in dry, enclosed rooms.
Always observe the safety instructions included in these operating instructions. Please read the operating
instructions carefully and keep them.
Any use, other than the one described above, may damage the product. Moreover, this involves hazards
such as e.g. short circuit, fi re, electric shock, etc. It is not allowed to modify or rebuild any part of the product!

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper use
or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty will be void in such cases!
a) In general
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not permitted because of
safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not open/disassemble! Contains no customer-service-
able parts.
Maintenance, adjustment or repair work may only be carried out by an expert/authorised serv-
ice centre which is familiar with the risks involved and the relevant regulations.
• The product is constructed according to protection class II.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Be specially careful if
children are around. Children cannot see the danger arising from incorrect use of electrical
devices. Children might try to push objects through the product openings, for example. There
is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock! Furthermore, there is a high risk of injury and burn-
ing due to hot housing parts.
Install the product out of reach of children.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around since this may become a danger-
ous toy for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops, even
from a low height.

b) Installation location
• The product may only be used in dry indoor areas, it must not get damp or wet! Never position
the product in direct vicinity of a bathtub, shower, bathroom or similar. Lethal hazard due to
electric shock!
• Do not position the product directly under a wall socket.
• Install the product on a vertical, stable wall. Use the wall bracket supplied.
If you are using the castors provided, select an appropriate location. This location must be
fi rm, suffi ciently big, vertical, smooth and stable.
Leave suffi cient space from combustible or fl ammable materials or objects (e.g. curtains,
doors, furniture etc.).
• The product must not be exposed to extremes of temperature, direct sunlight or strong vibra-
tions.
• Never place the convector heater on an unstable or moving surface. Always place the air
convector heater in such a way that it cannot tilt or topple over.
A built-in safety switch automatically switches the convector heater off when it topples over.
Despite the safety switch, there is a risk of fi re if the heater tilts/topples over! Furthermore, a
person or the product itself can be damaged.
• If the castors provided are used, they may cause scratch and pressure marks on the fl oor
when the convector heater is moved. Use a suitable protection for valuable fl oor surfaces.
• Never use the product in vehicles of any kind and similar moving objects or spaces; it is suit-
able for use in buildings only.
• Unwind the mains cable completely during operation. The power cable must not be pinched
or damaged by contact with sharp edges. Do not place any objects on the cable, and do not
allow it to become kinked. Install the cable where no one can stumble over it and the plug is
easily accessible. Do not install the mains cable under carpets or the like.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust, fl ammable
gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of fi re and explosion!
c) Handling and operation
• Never plug in or unplug the plug-in power unit with damp or wet hands. There is a risk of a
life-threatening electric shock!
• Never switch the power supply for the convector heater on immediately after it has been
moved from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation that develops in such cases
could damage the device or cause an electric shock! Allow the convector heater to reach room
temperature. Wait until the condensation has evaporated. This might take several hours. Only
after this should it be plugged into the mains supply and put into use.
• Never use the product without supervision.
• Do not use the convector heater together with an additional time switch, a remote switch (e.g.
wireless switch socket) or other devices that switch on the convector heater automatically.
There is a risk of fi re if the convector heater is covered or positioned/mounted incorrectly.
• Do not connect the convector heater to an extension cable or a dimmer, or similar. Plug the
mains plug directly into e.g. a mains socket.
• When using the heater for the fi rst time, hot parts of the case may cause an irritating odour for
a while. If you experience this, ventilate the room where the convector heater is set up.
• Always pull the mains plug on the gripping surface intended for this purpose. Never unplug the
mains plug from the mains socket by pulling the cable!
• Unwind the mains cable completely during operation. If the cable is not unwound completely,
it can cause overheating; danger of fi re!
• Do not use the product when it is damaged (e.g. housing, mains cable). A defective connecting
cable may only be replaced by a specialist. There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Always pull the mains plug out of the mains socket before cleaning the convector heater or
when the device will not be in use for a long time.
• Always leave suffi cient space from combustible or fl ammable materials or objects (curtains,
doors, furniture etc.). If the distance is too small, there is a risk of fi re. Never operate the
convector heater in cabinets or other small closed rooms. Fire hazard!
Do not cover the convector heater, do not place clothing or other objects on the convector
heater. Fire hazard!
• The top and the glass front become very hot during operation, danger of burns!
• Never pour any liquids on or next to the product. It can cause fi re or perilous electric shock
danger. If liquids get into the device, immediately isolate the mains socket (fuse/circuit breaker/
earth leakage circuit breaker), then separate the mains plug from the mains socket and consult
an expert. Do not operate the device anymore.
• Only move, transport or store the product when it has cooled down completely. Disconnect it
from the mains voltage and pull the plug out of the mains socket.
• Only use the appliance in a moderate climate, never in a tropical climate.
• The use of this product is not recommended for persons with reduced responsiveness or
persons with physical/mental disabilities.
