Read this booklet before installing, commissioning and operat-
ing the appliance. It is an integral part of the product.
Read the warnings and instructions contained in this booklet
carefully, as they provide important information on user safety
and maintenance. Special attention should be paid to the general
safety precautions.
Keep this instruction booklet safe for future reference.
These steam generators are built in compliance with applicable
safety standards.
The contents of this booklet must be conveyed to the user of
the appliance.
CLASSIFICATION
Users must respect the conditions for using the appliance es-
tablished in applicable regulations and standards. In particular
users must respect the following classification.
This steam generator is classified as a Class I appliance for
protection against electric shock.
The steam generator is set up in the factory and all safety
devices are sealed. They must not be adjusted.
The steam generator must be placed on a firm, flat surface.
Failure to respect this precaution may be a cause of danger.
The steam generator must not be used in the presence of cor-
rosive or potentially explosive atmospheres (flammable gases,
vapours or mists and/or combustible powders).

GENERAL SAFETY PRECAU-
TIONS FOR USING
STEAM GENERATORS
- The steam generator must be electrically
connected in conformity to current regula-
tions and standards (in compliance with the
provisions of the IEC 60364-1
and in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
Make sure the power rating of the electrical
installation and sockets is adequate for the
maximum power of the appliance as indi-
cated on the data plate (W).
If in doubt, contact a professional electrician.
Have a suitable plug fitted by a professional
electrician.
- Incorrect connection may cause injury to
people or animals or damage to property
and absolves the manufacturer of all liability.

Before connecting the steam generator,
make sure the specifications on the data
plate are compatible with those of the mains
electricity supply.
- If an extension is used to power the appli-
ance, use a cable with an adequate cross
section and never less than 2.5 mm2. The
plug and socket must be watertight.
The use of unsuitable extensions may be a
cause of danger.
- The electrical safety of the appliance is
guaranteed only when it is correctly connect-
ed to an efficient earth system as specified
by current electrical safety standards and
regulations (in compliance with the provi-
sions of IEC
