The DIN and panel-mount enclosures can use either drop cable type. The J-box and harsh
enclosures must use the straight connector version to fit through the larger, 25mm gland identified
for PLC cabling in Figure 2-25, Figure 2-26 or Figure 2-27. Inside the enclosure, a right angle
adapter (shown in Figure 2-61) must be used due to space constraints. The ControlNet Component
List document AG-2.2 lists the manufacturers and part numbers for the approved adapters. This
adapter is not supplied by METTLER TOLEDO.

To create a good seal around a single, non redundant network cable, use the supplied one-hole
black rubber grommet in the gland to maintain the IP rating of the enclosure. If redundant cables
are used, use the supplied two-hole black rubber grommet in the gland and route both cables
through the same gland, as shown in Figure 2-62.
