5. Each time a sterilisation cycle is carried out insert an integrator in the sterilisation chamber to have the
confirmation of the carried out sterilisation; we recommend to place the integrator in the middle of the
sterilisation chamber. The manufacturer recommend the use of SteriScan integrators.
6. Set the wished sterilisation cycle (121° C or 134 ° C) by using the push-button CYCLE SELECTION.
7. After charging the autoclave and selecting the program 121° C and 134° C, start the sterilisation cycle
by pressing START/STOP and close the door using the suitable handle. Starting from this moment,
the autoclave starts the sterilisation cycle by reaching the set pressure. The led CYCLE ON will light on.
After the sterilisation cycle and the drying phase, the led END OF CYCLE switches on; in this moment, it
is possible to open the door.
WARNING: ALWAYS CHECK THE PRESSURE GAUGE BEFORE OPENING THE DOOR TO MAKE
SURE THERE IS NO PRESSURE IN THE CHAMBER.
8. When the pressure gauge signals the zero pressure in the chamber, turn off the main switch and open
the door.
9. The closing pivot has a notch at is end to avoid any opening in case there is inner pressure. To ease
opening push the door towards the chamber.
10. When opening the door, do not stay above or in front of it to avoid burns.
11. Use protective gloves to remove the load from the sterilisation chamber or use the supplied suitable
tray drawing.
12. If the sterilisation chamber is not opened after the end of the sterilisation cycle, the inner damp tends to
condense on the closing door, thus forming condensate drops which fall on the floor while opening.
13. If you are not present in the laboratory, when the autoclave ends the sterilisation cycle, you can
recognise the end of the cycle by means of the led END OF CYCLE.
ATTENTION:
AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH STERILIZATION CYCLE PUT WATER INTO THE
CHAMBER, THEN PRESS THE BUTTON START AND IMMEDIATELY CLOSE THE
DOOR.
