Remove all packaging materials and stickers from your Smart Grill Pro. Wipe the
grill plates clean with a damp cloth and dry them completely. Should you observe
a light smoke developing, this is completely normal and will disappear after a
short time.
With SOLIS Smart Grill Pro, you can cook both meat and vegetables as well as
toasting or browning sandwiches or focaccias. When browning, you can secu-
rely lock the height of the lid in seven different positions using the clip, so that
the lid does not rest, but is held just over the food.

1. Place the grill on a suitably large work surface that is dry, level and heat-resis-
tant. The upper grill plate should be closed and the height adjustment clip should
be set to "OPEN". Insert the plug into a suitable socket, the red indicator light
"POWER" lights up and shows that the grill plates are heating up.
2. Turn the temperature control to the "SEAR" position so that the appliance
heats to it's highest level.
3. During the heating phase you can prepare the food you wish to grill. You can
find a list of recipes at the end of this guide.
4. Once the green indicator light "READY" lights up, the grill plates are optimally
preheated. Open the upper grill plate with the heat insulated handle and put in
the food. Make sure that dishes sit as far to the back of the grill plate as possi-
ble.
5. Note: With SOLIS Smart Grill Pro you can grill with the lid open or closed. The
ribs of the grill plates give the food the typical barbecue grill-stripes.
6. If you wish to grill with the lid closed, close the upper plate using the handle and
and press the handle down, thanks to the self adjusting joint the plate will ad-
just to the height of the food and ensures even grilling. Grill your food as desi-
red.
7. Once you wish to remove the food being grilled, open the grill using the heat
insulated handle. Lift out the grilled food using wooden tongs or a wooden
spoon. Never use a metal fork or knife since this could damage the non-stick
coating.
